The Loewe Mediacenter is a true all-rounder. It plays CDs and DVDs and can also receive radio via antenna, cable and satellite or from the Internet. You can use it to listen to digital music files stored on hard drives or on your network, as well as those on your iPod or iPhone. All of this is encased minimalistically in a slim housing made of high-quality aluminium and glass which there’s certainly no need to hide.
Experience the most complete system Loewe has ever created.
Minimalistically encased in a slim housing made of high-quality aluminium and glass, the Loewe Mediacenter is hardly something to hide away.
The three set-up options are typically Loewe, with the choice of a Wall Mount solution, an elegant Table Stand or a Floor Stand for free-standing positioning in the room. It goes without saying that here, too, Loewe offers a comprehensive range of solutions for discreetly hiding connection cables.
The display on and operation of the Loewe Mediacenter are also consistently focused on what really matters. A digital display on the device provides information about the track or station currently playing. Basic functions such as on/off, play/pause or back/forward are operated directly on the device itself.
The Loewe Mediacenter is connected directly with your TV set and uses the TV screen to display all music sources in an intuitive visual interface. To browse through your music albums, simply use the Loewe Assist.
CDs and DVDs are elegantly drawn in by a motorised slot on the side. The Loewe Mediacenter automatically displays the title, genre, album name and even a picture of the CD or DVD cover on the television screen. This is made possible via automatic retrieval from the Gracenote online database. To improve the picture quality, DVD films are automatically upscaled to Full-HD resolution (1080p) when they are played.
The Loewe Mediacenter can receive radio via FM, satellite, cable and the Internet. Using thousands of Internet radio streams, DVB radio programmes on the Loewe TV or various local FM radio stations is particularly convenient and simple with the Individual Mediacenter.
In future, Apple iPods or iPhones can be slotted into the docking station discreetly integrated into the top of the Individual Mediacenter. The docking station not only charges the battery of your mobile music player, but can also be completely remote-controlled, allowing you to conveniently play your favourite playlist on the big speakers in the living room and, using Loewe Multiroom, in every other room too.
Two fast USB ports on the Loewe Mediacenter allow MP3s or other music files from USB sticks or USB hard disks to be played directly.
Music files from your network can be accessed by the Loewe Mediacenter via LAN, WLAN or Powerline using Loewe Connectivity+ technology. Using the same technology, it connects to the Internet to access radio streams, podcasts or even track information and images for the CDs inserted.
The display on and operation of the Loewe Mediacenter itself are consistently focused on what really matters. A digital display provides information about the track or station currently playing. Basic functions such as on/off, play/pause or back/forward are operated directly on the device itself. Alternatively, on the connected TV set, an on-screen menu allows you to conveniently access all media.
Of course, the Loewe Mediacenter also features additional interfaces for connecting record players, games consoles or home automation systems. Aux-In, HDMI-In and -Out and an RS232 interface are available for this purpose.
What’s more, the Loewe Mediacenter can also be used as the nerve centre for the Loewe Multiroom system.
The Loewe Mediacenter is the ideal addition to existing home entertainment systems. It can be combined with all Loewe TV sets and system components – from a simple 2.1 stereo sound system, or a 5.1 Home Cinema system, right up to a Multiroom solution for the entire home.
The Loewe Mediacenter fulfils every individual wish.
Recycling your old electricals is easy!
Recycle your electrical and electronic devices free at your local recycling centre. To find your nearest centre, visit the Recycle More website and type in your postcode.
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.
We’re proud to support your local authority in providing local recycling facilities for electrical equipment.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.
How are we helping?
In the UK, distributors including retailers must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we have met the requirements placed on us by financially supporting the national network of WEEE recycling centres established by local authorities. This is achieved through membership of the national Distributor Take-back scheme (DTS).
